Welcome to English Youth Theatre!
English Youth Theatre is a theatre group for young people, teaching theatre in English in Waterloo since 2020. It is open to all kids and teenagers, regardless of experience or ability, and for over 20 years has given children and teenagers in Belgium the chance to perform in English!

Want to improve your English? EYT provides a fully immersive theatre course, taught entirely by native English-speaking teachers! Be part of an English-speaking environment! Older students can study classic texts like Shakespeare or Oscar Wilde, as well as contemporary theatre texts.

Jake has been teaching and directing for almost 10 years, and was an EYT student from age 6 to 18. He is both a reluctant Englishman and an avowed Belgian. He prides himself on being a jack of all trades, with interests in directing, acting, film-making, rap music, and play writing among others.
He studied Film Production ​at the University of Central Lancashire, where he participated in the creation of dozens of short films and videos, as well as the production of two feature films.

Jake directed EYT's last three FEATS plays to great acclaim, including the award-winning Chaos in 2023.
