American Theatre Company
Brussels, Belgium

The American Theatre Company AISBL is an entirely voluntary and non-profit organization, driven by the passion of our volunteer members for creating outstanding theatrical works of art. Since our founding in 1969, our mission has been to present a variety of American plays covering a diversity of genres. Over the past 45 years, the ATC has become one of the pre-eminent amateur English-language theatre groups in the country. We continuously strive to increase the level of professionalism in our productions, and offer a balance between classic, modern, dramatic and comedic plays.

ECC

Brussels, Belgium

The ECC originally started as the English Comedy Club in Brussels in 1909. We put on around three amateur plays per year, either at local theatres around Brussels or at our own studio theatre (shared with the Irish Theatre Group and American Theatre Company).

Irish Theatre Group (ITG)

Brussels, Belgium

The Irish Theatre Group (ITG) is a not-for-profit organisation, here to share our love of theatre and our rich tradition of storytelling with the international community of Brussels. We started back in the early 1980s with a desire to stage some of the classics of Irish theatre and we haven't stopped since. Fortunately for us, and we hope for you, the world of Irish theatre is vibrant and increasingly diverse and there is no end to the stories that need to be told and are worth telling.

It also organizes workshops on acting and stagecraft run by prominent names in British Theatre including Andrew Visnevski, theatre director and teacher of drama at RADA.

European Theatre Club (ETCetera)
Brussels, Belgium

ETCetera (European Theatre Club) is an amateur theatre group founded by Peter Willis and Teresa Perez-Roca in 2009 in Brussels.

Since 2009, Etcetera has produced about 30 plays, both classic and contemporary: writers include Chekhov, Pinter, Molière, Ionesco, Shaw, St Exupéry, Shakespeare, J B Priestley, and Horvath; and several musical plays, including operettas.

We use different theatres in the Brussels region, every 2 years or so participating in a French summer theatre festival, Théâtres de Bourbon, not far from Vichy in central France.

British American Theatre Society (BATS)

Antwerp, Belgium

Over the years, BATS has maintained a tradition of staging some four shows per season. The club also organises Open Evenings, not only for club members, but also for other people interested in learning more about BATS, or just having a chat in English. In this way the club has become much more than just an activity for expatriates. While English remains our club language, today’s membership is made up not only of expatriates, but also of locals and other nationalities, whatever their mother tongue.

Panda All-Stars
Musical theatre school
Jesus-Eik, Belgium

Our four children have always loved drama and musical theatre. It has been a wonderful way for them to make friends, gain confidence and push themselves to achieve new goals. They all love being part of theatre shows and have gained enormously from performing on stage in and around Brussels. But it’s not always easy to find opportunities for children to get involved in theatre. Many shows don’t include children in the cast, and solo roles for kids and teenagers are quite rare. That’s why we decided to create Panda All-Stars. We want to give kids the chance to learn the techniques of singing, dancing and acting on stage, as well as being part of a team putting on a show.
