Juniors' shows

Our Juniors get the chance to step out on stage and learn the basics of performing. They perform small shows in a friendly, intimate theatre, with their parents, friends and families present. These shows can take the form of fairy tales, pantomimes and new child-friendly stories!

The emphasis here is on fun, giving our Junior students the opportunity to learn the skills of performance in a safe, fun environment. Costumes, make-up, lights and sound all come together to give the Juniors their first experience of live theatre!

How does it work?

Each Junior group prepares a short show, between 10 and 20 minutes long, from September to December. During this preparation, they are taught the basics of stagecraft, such as teamwork, voice, use of space, line memorisation, and more!

With our Junior groups, we usually choose shows based on classic fairytales, children's stories, or simplified versions of other classics. The emphasis is on having fun and learning what it is to perform live theatre in a safe, friendly environment.

The show takes place in December, in a small, cozy theatre, in front of an audience of friends and family, providing the perfect balance of fun and challenge for our youngest students.
